Join the Friends of the Salado Public Library for our 5th Annual Literary Author Enlightenment Fundraiser on October 4th at the beautiful Chapel at Caliber Oak.This year, we are turning the pages of American classics upside down with three brilliant, witty parodies that will leave you thoroughly &quot;enlightened&quot; and entertained:<ul data-path-to-node="5" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Fence of Freedom: A satirical spin on Mark Twain&rsquo;s iconic Tom Sawyer whitewashing scheme. Find out what happens when persuasive charm meets a quest for liberty!</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Blew with the Wind: A dramatic, breezy, and laugh-out-loud parody of Margaret Mitchell&rsquo;s sweeping Southern epic, Gone with the Wind.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Ransom of Red Chief: A lively rendition of O.
