Madi is a contemporary artist based in Sandpoint, Idaho and founder of Yellow Goat Studio. A fifth generation local on both sides of her family, she was raised between a cattle ranch and life in town. Her paintings explore the tension and harmony between rural heritage and modern culture, blending western influence with contemporary pop sensibilities.

Ed Robinson worked as a professional forester for the Idaho Department of Lands for over 35 years in the Priest Lake and Sandpoint regions. Since retirement, plein air oil painting has become an all-consuming passion for him - a new and intimate way to interact with the local wilderness.

You and your friends (max of 6 people) from novice to expert will enjoy spending the morning birding somewhere near Sandpoint with local birder and arborist Rich Del Carlo.

Spring migrants returned in May. Warblers, Vireos, Orioles will be singing on territory and showing off their beautiful breeding plumage. Local birding hot spots will be bursting with bird life.

Plein air painting is an intimate way to enjoy the great outdoors and a great way to become more familiar with your local natural areas.

Enjoy a private plein air painting session with acclaimed local artist Ed Robinson. The workshop will be geared to the beginner artist, so fear not if you are new to art.

There will be an intro lesson in a studio space, followed by some time painting outside at a scenic spot. Materials for the day’s adventure will be provided.
