The Otterburn Boating Club, in associtation with the MRCVR and the cities of Otterburn Park, Saint-Mathias sur Richelieu and Chambly, invites you to the 4th edition of the Descente du Richelieu ! This event has been created to allow up to a thousand participants to take part in the 12km ride in the beautiful Richelieu river. Price to register (you have your own canoe, kayak, SUP, etc.) : 15$ Price to register and rent a kayak, SUP or a place in a dragon-boat : 30$ At the finish point, a performance by the band Allô Fantome and many other activities will be offered to the participants. The Pointe-Valaine park, where the Otterburn Boating Club is located, is a great place to enjoy the beautiful weather and offers a great view on the Mont-Saint-Hilaire. Finally, a shuttle service will be offered every 30 minutes starting at 2PM and up to 4PM. If you have your own kayak (or canoe/SUP), we can keep it while you take the shuttle to get your car. L’événement vise à permettre à un maximum d’adeptes de créer un convoi en kayak, planche à pagaie, bateau-dragon ou tout autre embarcation nautique non-motorisée. Il est possible pour vous débuter la descente du tout début (Bassin de Chambly - 12km de rame) ou de vous joindre à nous à partir du quai municipal de Saint-Mathias (10 km de rame). Les personnes ayant leur propre embarcation ou désirant que le club leur en prête une sont les bienvenus à se joindre à nous.
