🎉  The 2025 Spring show is The Winter’s Tale.  Best known for the iconic stage direction,  “He exits, chased by a bear,” this is one of Shakespeare’s crossover plays, It is not really a comedy, not really a tragedy, but someone dies, someone misbehaves, and love conquers all (with a bit of mysticism tossed in as well.)  First performed in 1609, The Winter’s tale explores some of The Bard’s favorite themes: jealousy, revenge, bucolic charm and redemption. Director, John Baxter, is placing our version in a modern setting, which is particularly effective with this timeless story. Performances are Friday, June 13th, Saturday, June 14th, Thursday, June 19th, Friday June 20th, and Saturday June 21st at 7:30 and Sunday June 15th at 2:00 PM.  In case of rain,  performances will be at the Gild Hall except for June 14th, which will take place at the  Buzz Ware Center. Tickets may be purchased on the Shakespeare Gild page of the Arden Club Website (<a href="http://ardenclub.org" style="text-decoration-color:initial;-webkit-user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">ardenclub.org</a>) using the attached link.  They will also be available at the door, but for cash (or check) only.
