- Equip the Canadian healthcare system to address the health needs of trafficking victims

Your contribution will help our efforts to educate all Canadian healthcare professionals and providers about human trafficking at various levels of training, through curriculum development, research, and advocacy.

Past donations have helped CAMSAHT launch a massive campaign, asking the Medical Council of Canada to include questions about human trafficking on the Canadian physician licensing exams. The campaign garnered support from countless physicians and medical trainees, medical organizations and faculties, and frontline organizations that work with survivors of trafficking.

Thanks to everyone’s hard work and innumerable contributions, the campaign was a success! This is a massive step forward and something we have been working toward for the past six years.

CAMSAHT is now consulting to provide lecture material, workshops and case studies, which we hope will be incorporated at all Canadian medical schools in the coming two years.

We are hoping to begin a similar campaign for nursing and social work education.

We will be renewing our pledge to educate the public about trafficking, especially for groups that are the most vulnerable to being trafficked.
