Silky is around 5-6 years old and developed urinary issues and bladder stones early on. When he gets a flare up, he will urinate blood. He requires prescription food to keep him from getting flare ups, but they still happen sometimes. When that happens, he goes to the vet right away for a urinalysis and an ultrasound, when needed, and is put on antibiotics. He has been doing very well in his forever foster home, and stress can often cause flare ups of issues like this, so he is staying under our care.
