ᐊᕐᕌᒍᑕᒫᑦ ᕕᕗᐊᕆᒥ, ᐃᒥᐊᓗᑦᑕᐃᓕᓕᐅᑎᔪᑦ 14-ᓂᑦ ᓄᓇᓕᓐᓂᑦ ᓄᓇᕕᒻᒥ ᐅᖓᑖᓄᓪᓗ ᐱᓯᒪᔪᑦ ᐃᓚᐅᓲᖑᕗᑦ ᐱᖕᖑᐹ ᐃᒥᐊᓗᑦᑕᐃᓕᓕᐅᑎᓂᖓᓄᑦ. ᑖᓐᓇ ᑕᕐᕿᓕᒫᒨᓕᖓᔪᖅ ᐱᓂᐊᕐᓂᖅ ᐱᒋᐊᕐᑎᓯᒍᓐᓇᑎᑦᓯᕗᖅ ᐃᓅᒍᓯᐅᑉ ᐊᓯᑦᔨᓂᖓᓂᒃ ᐊᒻᒪᓗ ᐃᓱᒪᑦᓴᓯᐅᕈᑎᖃᕐᑎᓯᑦᓱᓂ ᐃᒥᐊᓗᓲᖑᓂᕐᒥᑕ ᐋᖓᔮᓐᓇᑐᕐᑐᓲᖑᓂᕐᒥᑕᓗ ᒥᑦᓵᓄᑦ. Every year in February, participants from the 14 communities of Nunavik and beyond take part in the Pingngupaa Challenge. This month-long event allows them to kickstart a lifestyle change and reflect on their relationship with alcohol and drugs.
