Originating from the dedicated efforts of parents seeking a safe haven for their children to play, the league's current complex was acquired and constructed in 1965. Within a year, their commitment bore fruit as Westbury triumphed in the 1966 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, clinching victory against the American Little League of West New York, New Jersey. Notably, Westbury stands as the lone Texan representative to achieve this remarkable feat.
