Since 1949, through tours and concert series presented in teaching institutions, JMC has greatly contributed to the democratization of classical music in our country. Today, its mission remains to develop an appreciation for music in children and to offer the general public in Québec, Ontario and the Maritimes professional-calibre classical music productions, including a staged opera.
