Women in Aviation (WAI.org) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation and aerospace career fields and interests. The main mission of the local Sierra Battle Born Chapter of WAI (sierrabattleborn.com) is to encourage, empower, and educate girls in the greater Reno area about aviation and all that it has to offer.  We strive to connect all those whose interests, lives, and work involve aviation and aerospace without regard to race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, physical or mental abilities, or point of view.
