In Canada, 1 in 3 people who access food banks are children (under age 12). That means that over 300,000 children in Canada struggle to get enough food each month.After the Bell campaign, spearheaded by Food Banks Canada, is dedicated to ending child hunger. They assemble non-perishable nutritional food packs and provide grants to local food banks across Canada so they can provide fresh, local and perishable produce to add for the children walking into Food Banks.&nbsp;Cooking to Connect is dedicated to raising money and awareness for this campaign. Every dollar raised is a step towards providing healthy food packs to some of our most vulnerable children and youth communities.&nbsp;Packs are assembled with shelf-stable items such as milk, hummus, crackers, cereal, oatmeal and raisins.
