Over the last 20 years Jazz Bridge has benefitted from your generosity and so have the musicians you continue to support.  Two musicians who lost everything to fire were helped by your donations; a trumpeter had to put his instrument in hock to pay for his bills, but Jazz Bridge was able to get it back so that he could continue to play music. Another musician who passed away was cremated and reunited with his family through your kindness and those of his friends. In 2020, the entertainment industry was one of the hardest hit – venues closed, stages went dark and gigs dried up. But you were there to make a difference during those difficult times. And with the help of a funder, Jazz Bridge began the Micro Grant program – to gift up to 10 musicians $500 to assist them with basic needs: rental/mortgage assistance, food, medical payments, utility bills and more. Now Jazz Bridge has once again been challenged with matching $2500 for the MicroGrant program to make the donation of our funder go farther. We're calling on you to help us double the amount of the grant so we can double the impact and give out 10 micro grants.
