Healthy choices instead of junk food sold at corner stores.- FARM STANDS, run by students and/or community members so everyone can buy fresh, affordable, nearby fruits and vegetables from nearby farms and support farmers, too.  We overcome food insecurity and inequity by empowering the community itself to create healthy businesses so everyone has equal access to fresh food and wellness.-  HEALTHY FRESH COOKING CLASSES and WORKSHOPS - at schools and in the communities for all ages. Yes you can cook healthy at home and it doesn't have to take much time and you can know that your children will not grow up prone to diabetes and heart disease because they are consuming too much salt and sugar in packaged foods.
