Mid-Valley Productions, MVP is seeking community support and partnerships to help provide assistance for upcoming educational programs, cultural events, community events, theatrical productions, concerts, and more. We are continuously working with the community to bring local and national talent to our amazing stage at the Russell Tripp Performance Center located in Takena Hall at Linn-Benton Community College, Albany campus (LBCC is not a sponsor nor financial contributor of MVP).  When you make a contribution, MVP will show recognition by placing you or your company’s name and/or logo on our website sponsor/donor page with a link to your business’s website, and on the lobby monitor inside LBCC Takena Hall. Additionally, our sponsors will be featured periodically on our social media accounts. Depending on the level of contribution your company information/logo may also be placed on posters, in print ads, and show programs.  Opening May 1st, MVP in partnership with NPC Productions is bringing to the stage, <a href="http://www.midvalleyproductions.org/plays" target="_blank">"The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)[revised][again]"</a>. This play features all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays, performed in 97 minutes, by three actors! Fast paced, witty, and physical, it’s full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike. Because of the humorous nature of this production and how it is written, this play is easily understood and is a great introduction to the works of William Shakespeare. MVP is seeking tickets to be sponsored so high school and middle school students can attend the play for free. Sponsoring a ticket is sponsoring a student.  This summer, MVP will be initiating our first theater education camp. Over a month-long period adolescents aged 10 to 17 will learn various aspects of how theatrical performances are produced. MVP will be conducting instructional classes covering; Acting Techniques, Set Design, Construction, and Dressing, Light Board Operating, Sound Board Operating, Stage Crew, Costume Construction and more.  Mid-Valley Productions is determined to fill the educational gap missing from other theater camps in the area. MVP's Production of "The Velveteen Rabbit: A Magical Musical" is more about the journey of learning theater that culminates in a live production rather than merely putting on a children's show. MVP wants to provide financial scholarships to reduce the costs typically associated with camp enrollment. Sponsor funding will help provide this opportunity to more families who are unable to afford the full cost of camp. Financial assistance will help ensure the success of the production as a whole by providing the finances needed for costumes, props, sets, advertising, and more.
