For over two decades, Habitat for Humanity Western Wayne County has devoted efforts advocating to end poverty housing and homelessness throughout the Greater Detroit metropolitan area.  Over the years, our efforts have built a sense of purpose and dignity in the lives of hundreds through referrals, mentoring, rehabilitation, new and recycled houses.  Even when Covid shut the world down, we kept working because there are many families that rely on us. While we continue to operate, we have lost a tremendous amount of funding due to Covid but would like to fulfill our mission and are in great need of financial resources. If you are looking for a good organization with a good cause, we are here and in need.
