Alpha provides vocational training in Decorative Arts to those in our community who are living with a visible or invisible disability or vulnerability and wish to experience the skill-building and mental health benefits of artistic practice in classroom and studio settings.  One can prepare for a career in the decorative arts field with classes, licensed by NYS, in Alpha Workshops Studio School.  These creative and technical classes are available at no out-of-pocket costs to those eligible for our programs. Graduates of Alpha Workshops Studio School are eligible to apply for paid internships and employment in our professional atelier. One can explore artistic processes according to one's interest in our other programs, Studio Practice and My Creative Future. Since 1995, we have encouraged our program participants' creative inclinations and nurtured their career paths in and outside of our own studios.
