Founded in 2022 by President and Executive Director, LaVonda & Shanika Johnson, A G.O.D. Mom's Hand was inspired by the Dignity, Ethics, and Morals displayed by the grandmother & great-grandmother's of the family which has now expanded to provide innovative solutions to the lack of affordable enrichment programs for children with little to no economic resources. A G.O.D. Mom's Hand thrives to fill necessary gaps in the community, by continuing to support children and families in the North Texas Area through youth mentoring and career development, food pantry resources dedicated to alleviate hunger and provide supplemental food assistance for families and senior adults. OUR MISSION is to empower children and families to be self-sustaining through education, training, mentoring and service.
