March 30, 2024, National Physicians' Day, is also the 4th anniversary of the launch of Physician Support Line. What started off as a few psychiatrists' effort to provide free and anonymous emotional support to their medical student and physician colleagues navigating a global pandemic in March of 2020 has become a lifeline for thousands of American physicians navigating many challenges in their personal and professional lives for the past four years Physician Support Line is: - anonymous - free - available to discuss any subject, not just crisis situations - independent and reports to no one Physician Support Line functions entirely through volunteerism and the founding members' personal financial backing.
