I was diagnosed with Asymptomatic Canine Degenerative Valve Disease in 2017, which then progressed to Chronic Degenerative Valve Disease Stage B2 in 2018. On family trips we would go swimming in the lakes in our home city. I remember my owner would throw my favorite stick in the water and I would doggy paddle across the lake and swim back as fast as I could to give my owner the stick so she could throw it again. My owner would wash us and give me and my brother our favorite wet food after a long day of playing and we would pass out from exuding so much energy and having full belly’s so many times throughout my life -those were the good times. My other leg was broken when I was a puppy and the joint bone grew back incorrectly and the vet stated that they were not able to fix that leg because of my age. So ever since these two issues, it has made it hard for me to walk daily.
