Welcome to the Edmonton 2022 Walk for Angels! 

This year our goal is to raise $100,000 for the Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society (CASS). We have 5 different locations across Canada, and we will be walking together to raise awareness to Angelman syndrome and raising money for CASS.

The Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society is committed to helping Canadian Angelman families by providing supports for Living Now!

CASS has donated over $100,000 through the Family Fund to AS families in need with lifechanging tools such as iPads, safety sleeper Beds, special needs tricycles and strollers, floating wheelchairs, behavioral and therapy sessions and so much more. These items that people with Angelman syndrome require help to improve their quality of life and are very costly to families and caregivers and sometimes are not feasible. The CASS Family Fund provides a way for AS families to receive these items. Each grant that we provide to families are in between $1000 to $5000 each.

CASS is also focused on opening Angelman Clinics in each province across Canada. These clinics are vital to helping move AS Research forward. More AS clinics will attract more opportunities to host clinical trials, which are a fundamental component toward discovering better treatment methods and a cure for Angelman syndrome.

To Fundraise

Create a team or an Individual fundraising page. We have a lofty goal so we are challenging each team 

to help us with our fundraising goal. 

If you create a fundraising page this does not mean that you have registered for the walk, this option is only a fundraising page. Each registration automatically gives you a fundraising page.

To accept cash or cheque donations please print the 2022 Walk for Angels Pledge form from our website. All cash and cheques must be handed in at the registration table at the walk. All cheques must be made payable to The Canadian Angelman syndrome Society or CASS.
