This summer we are continuing our girls basketball team, the Northwest Florida Raptors. The Raptors are a U16 girls team made from 5 area schools; Escambia, Pine Forest, Gulf Breeze, Lead Academy, and Central School.  With your help, we can bring year-long continuity to the sport while providing a healthy outlet, guidance, and opportunity for each girl.Our goal is to raise money so that travel accommodations, tournament fees, practice time and uniform expenses can be subsidized by various donations. Our team is comprised of high-caliber volunteer positions (coaches, trainers, and board) committed to seeing that our children are trained in an environment that emphasizes athletic excellence, physical and mental discipline, self-esteem, leadership and sportsmanship.Our Goals:<ul><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Encourage the pursuit of achieving both individual and team goals</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Promote sportsmanship and conflict resolution</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Show respect for individuals, teammates and competitors</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Develop core offensive and defensive fundamentals</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Provide a fun and winning environment for players</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">Learn and teach disciplineOur team will travel and compete in local, in-state, and out-of-state tournaments to expand the level of exposure and an opportunity to explore the possibility of athletic scholarship offers.
