THE EPIC ADIRONDACK HIKING TEAM IS BACK!

.....AND WE'VE EXPANDED.

Yet again, we have decided to avoid biking by putting our own little spin on the annual Medeba Bike-a-thon! We will be returning to the ADIRONDACK MOUNTIANS as the (adoptive) Archibald siblings team! Vic, Bec, Liam and Liv will be heading to Lake Placid, New York, over thanksgiving weekend!

On this epic 4th year of the Medeba HIKE-A-Thon we are raising money to go towards our Vehicle and Transportation Fund. From cliffs to rivers, the Everglades to the Adirondack Mountains our vans help Medeba to use adventure and community to create positive change in young peoples' lives. Your support will help facilitate stories of life-change for years to come!

Last year, our donors were able to decide WHICH peak we climbed, but this year they will decide HOW MANY peaks we climb. Listen folks, this could be a serious feat. We are talking actual literal mountains.

Our goal is to raise $10,001, surpassing the biking team, and consequentially summitting 5 PEAKS.

For reference, last year it took Vic and Liv 8.5hrs to hike Marcy which was a feat of 24.66kms! Now multiply something like that by FIVE. What will it take to get us up those mountains? What is the Price Per Peak?!

For every $2,000 our team raises, we will add another peak to the list!

As a bonus, we have come to realize that the biking team has stated in their campaign that the team who raises the least (per participant) will be thrown in the Medeba pond. Though we don't recall agreeing to this, we were willing to do it for bragging rights, but hey - we are here for it!! Join us in throwing Dan and team in the Pond in a chilly mid October by supporting our team!!

This adventure is no small feat, but neither is the good work that happens at Medeba!

Medeba is a charitable organization that ministers to children and youth. We use adventure and community to challenge young people to grow in all areas of life. We have four main programs for children and youth: Summer Camp, Leadership Training, Outdoor Education and Group Retreats.
