En effet, la Petite-Bourgogne, au nord de la rue Notre-Dame, est un des quartiers les plus touchés par la pauvreté à Montréal.  C’est pourquoi MR-63 et le Corridor Culturel ont décidé de participer à la collecte de fonds pour des paniers des fêtes qui seront distribués par le CEDA, un organisme communautaire phare du quartier. Si nous réussissons cette collecte, le 22 décembre 2022 prochain, c’est 150 ménages du quartier de la Petite-Bourgogne qui pourront s’offrir un temps des fêtes sans faim en toute dignité. On parle ici de quelque 400 enfants, jeunes, adultes et personnes âgées ! Ces paniers offrirons aux résident.e.s en situation de grande précarité des aliments de qualité afin qu’ils puissent se concocter un bon repas au goût du temps des fêtes. Pour assurer leur joie, une sélection de denrées alimentaires périssables et non-périssables leur sera proposée pour répondre à leurs goûts et de leurs besoins . Alors, en tant que bon voisins et voisines, assurons nous que personne n’est laissé derrière en ce temps des fêtes.
