To honor her, the board has establishment of the Babs Wagner Scholarship to support youth who are aging out of the foster care system with a desire to pursue a career path not not covered by traditional grants or scholarships.

The Friends of Wake Guardian ad Litem are able help fill the gap for children in foster care and kinship care because of donors like you. Unlike children in more traditional homes, children in foster care lack the stability and resources necessary for a child to be a child – like having the classroom supplies and support to learn and thrive in school or having the opportunity to attend summer camp.
