The Audacity of Faith – A Clarion Call to Build the "Camp of God"Dear Beloved Brethren, Donors, Supporters, and Faithful Givers,Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ!As we write to you today, our hearts are filled with awe, gratitude, and urgency. For 20 years, the Camp of God family has been on a journey that can only be described as one of Audacity of Faith. We have seen the impossible made possible, witnessed God's hand move in the midst of overwhelming trials, and have stood firm by His grace. This letter is more than just an update—it is a clarion call to join us in finishing the work God has begun.Our history:Two decades ago, we began this journey from a living room—a small seed of faith planted in humility. From there, we moved into a storefront, hoping to establish a permanent place of worship. Many times, we faced evictions and unexpected setbacks that threatened to shake us, and then came Hurricane Harvey. The storm destroyed everything, stripping us of our belongings, our meeting place, and seemingly our hope. For two years, we gathered to worship in a tent, braving the heat of summer, the rain, and the chill of winter. But through it all, one thing remained constant: God's unfailing grace.Despite every obstacle, we continued to believe, wait, and trust in God's promises. in 2017, He blessed us with a miracle—4.0039 acres of land, a foundation for the future. It was a sign of His favor, mercy, His faithfulness, and His unwavering presence with us. And now, we believe with all our hearts that this is our time to build.Our Current Situation:The next step of our journey is before us. To complete the "Camp of God Building Project,"  a 8000 Sq ft Building consist of Sanctuary, Offices, Fellowship Hall and Children Department. We need to refinance our $350, 000 mortgage and a construction loan of $600,000, which totals $950,000. To meet the November 15th, 2024, deadline, we urgently need to raise $250,000 for closing. It is a large sum, but we serve a God that specialized in making impossibility Possible—a God who moves mountains and parts seas.Our Request:We stand before you today with full hearts, calling on you to join us in this holy endeavor. Just as King David said in 1 Chronicles 29:3 (NKJV), "Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house." We believe that God has placed you in this generation to help build His temple. Your support is not just a financial act—it is a spiritual investment in the Kingdom of God. It is the creation of a sanctuary where countless souls will find salvation, hope, and healing.The emotional weight of this moment is real. We have fought, prayed, and believed for this for 20 years, and we are so close. But we cannot do it alone.
