Each year, hundreds of families, churches, businesses, and organizations collect the perishable food we give to the families we serve. Our fundraising efforts allow us to provide each family with a 10+ pound Turkey and other fresh items, such as pies, butter, eggs, and dinner rolls. 

500 Turkeys' mission is to Feed Families Food & Faith. With God's help and the community's hands and feet, we have given an entire meal at Thanksgiving to nearly 70,000 people since 2009. This year's goal is to feed another 1400 Northwest Indiana families for Thanksgiving.

Since 2011, we have also given away donated clothing to those in need. Thanks to faithful supporters and volunteers, we give clothing away throughout the year through our sister-ministry Clothes N Prayers. Clothing donations are accepted and offered on Tuesdays & Thursdays each week.
