Location and project description : Grizzly Flats, El Dorado County California. This initiative is to provide assistance in building costs, labor and materials of the first Title 25 home in the county. The home was designed by a local and accomplished architect Peter Wolfe contributing his time, knowledge and expertise to the communities members in need of home rebuilding plans. This specific plan incorporates a 750sqft Title 25 home with a beautiful open floor concept, skylights, two bedrooms, laundry space, full kitchen, dining and living area. Diamond Pacific of Placerville has provided a full materials list and take-off sheet.    Your contribution will go towards all building efforts and materials of this home. Many, many local businesses have either provided in kind labor, in-kind building materials, a combination of both materials and labor donations.   Sponsors some of which include : TEAM DEPOT (The Home Depot Placerville)  Hunt Propane, Atticman Heating and Air, Housing El Dorado, Jacobs Plumbing and Drain Cleaning, American Eagle Roofing, Motherlode Rock and Ready Mix, Wilkinson Site Services, The Upper Dining Room hall, Non-profit Mortgage and Tap Truck El Dorado.  Our Veteran being assisted...  Many issues in California contributed to multiple hardships for the Veterans in Grizzly Flatsafter the Caldor fire was fully contained and the community was allowed to return to theirhomes. Most of the Veterans in the community could not afford the cost of a premium insuranceon the VA payments received. A Veteran named Mac has not allowed the disaster to keep himfrom serving his community. Mac MacNeil is a retired Naval Intelligence Veteran who proudlyserved his country during the Vietnam War and lives in Grizzly Flats on property kept in hisfamily for nearly a century. Mac lost everything in the Caldor Fire. Mac’s family legacy wasreduced to ashen debris, and he became homeless by no fault of his own. The property isadjacent to the former Grizzly Flats Church property, where Mac works with the community toconduct food distributions and community outreach. The hours-long effort to pick-up food andgenerously hand it out to the community has made Mac a pillar in the community. Mac and hispartner Cathie still reside on Mac’s property living in donated old recreational vehicles.Non-profit Construction Corporation is a 501c3 organization dedicated to affordable housing forVeterans, the elderly, and families of modest to acutely low-income levels. Non-profitConstruction Corporation is dedicated to disaster recovery regardless of federal designations inorder to ensure an assistance is still provided. The Board of Directors is made up of SkilledTrade Journeyman and Professional Project Managers, and the 501c3 holds a Contractors State License Number #112441 Non-profit Construction Corporation attended a community rebuilding meeting in Grizzly Flats, CA. Much conversation was made into possible fund raising efforts directly with community rebuilders of the 2021 Caldor Fire. However, not much conversation was needed as to who would be the recipient if our efforts persevered. Only two people were nominated unanimously by the community. And that is how we new who we would be serving if only one home was to be built.    Non-profit Construction Corporation has a resolution in place that no donations ever go to a board members personal benefit and is as well a part of Non-profit Construction Corporation EIN 99-1958124 bylaws. We thank everyone who may contribute to this effort and to all of our community sponsors in this project without your dedication to our county this would not be possible. Please join us in this effort of brining the first Title 25 home to a well deserving community member and veteran of Grizzly Flats.
