A "Compost Collective" sign is mounted on the wooden post of a composting bin, with a set of instructions posted on the interior wooden wall.

Your gift keeps food scraps out of the landfill and helps us return them to the soil right here on Whidbey 🌱 By donating, you help us run food scrap collection for households and businesses, and turn what we collect into nutrient-rich compost for local use. In addition to the climate benefits of diverting food scraps from the landfill, community composting brings other advantages to Whidbey, including job creation, agricultural resilience, water retention and quality, and healthier soil for local farms and gardens. Every contribution—of any size—helps build a cleaner, greener, stronger Whidbey Island for our community today and for the next generation. PLEASE NOTE! There is NO requirement for you to make a donation to Zeffy. To remove the 17% donation, use the down arrow to select “Other” and enter “0.00” in the Contribution Field.
