Dearest Friends,

Our Church back home constantly needs to send Priests for further studies in the best Catholic Universities in Rome. They reside and undergo holistic formation at the Pontificio Collegio Filippino (Pontifical Filipino College) — close to the Holy Father physically, spiritually, and doctrinally.

When they return home, depending on their specialization, they will take charge of seminaries and other ministries in their Dioceses.

We need your help to raise funds for these student Priests in Rome, to cover their annual board and lodging (around $14,500), health insurance ($200), residence permit ($200), bus pass ($300), tuition fees ($5,000), and books and pocket money ($4000).  Excess funds raised will be reserved for the Diocese's next student at the Collegio within five years (after which excess funds will be used for the Collegio's general needs).

Our students help raise scholarship funds through the portals for their respective dioceses. Links to such portals may be sent by their Bishops, other priests, relatives and friends, to people who might wish to assist in these endeavors. Please feel free to forward these links to others as well, perhaps with a personalized message of yours.

Needless to say, a most precious contribution is the little prayer that you say each day for our Priests. Thank you very much for helping the Diocese back home. Rest assured of our prayers too.
