At this time last year, we had just completed our first ever season of programming! We now have 2 full seasons under our belt, and our upcoming 25/26 season aims to be bigger and bolder than any of the previous ones! Since last year's fundraiser, we accomplished the following during our 24/25 Season: - created our first 3-Year Strategic Plan with the help of Skystone Partners (and funded by a generous gift from The Haile Foundation) to ensure we are able to serve the community for many years to come ♥️ - hired over 70 professional artists of all different mediums and paid them all fair competitive wages, fulfilling our commitment of keeping PEOPLE over profit 🎨 - brought unique arts workshops to over 100 students in grades k-12 📚 - reached over 1,000 patrons with our arts events across a multitude of mediums 💫 - voted in a new Board of Directors made up of 14 local nonprofit and arts professionals to guide us 🙌 - collaborated with 9 nonprofit, arts organizations or local schools to widen our impact 🤝  - offered a "pay what you can" option for 100% of our events and public workshops, provided Braille and Enlarged-Text programs for 100% of our events, offered a live audio described option for 66% of our events, and offered ASL interpretation for 100% of our events, to stick with our commitment of making the arts ACCESSIBLE 💓 Imagine what impact we can make in this next season with your support? Today, we are fundraising specifically for the first half of our 25/26 season of programming. This year, we have spread out our Shining a Light Workshop and Lecture Series so the community can come and learn with us all season long! Our first event of the season is one of the workshops in this series: "Finding Vocal Agency," led by local voice teacher Anna Mosoriak of Sing Anyway Studio. We then present our annual "One Act Double Feature," an innovative event we are now bringing back for its third year in a row. Coming off of a sold-out performance last year, we are so excited to bring it back, and this time with new works: America's Favorite Feminist by Keenya Jackson and The Judgement Day of Robert Johnson by Myles Johnson. Following that, we have another workshop in our Shining a Light Workshop and Lecture Series with "Creating Art from a Personal Story," led by local acclaimed artist Michael Thompson. Finishing out the first half of the season, we have a powerful collaboration to uplift World AIDS Day with Caracole. It will be an uplifting and informative interdisciplinary arts event that will include an original script, live painting, and original dance pieces, all inspired by real stories of local community members.
