🌟 Join us in Creating Change! 🌟 At Shakespeare Authorship Roundtable, we understand the importance of freedom of thought, regarding history and literature. When Barbara Crowley and Carole Sue Lipman marched down to the Los Angeles City Hall (in December of 1985) to create our organization, they did so because UCLA refused to have an open panel discussion about the possibility that "Shakespeare" was quite likely more myth than man. This "doubt" had been building for over 300 years and many literary luminaries had poignant questions, including Mark Twain. To explore that doubt, which 40 years later now fills the Web with a wealth of both historical and theoretical suppositions about the greatest plays ever written, is our mission and our jam! We work very hard to connect and educate anyone who has an interest in Elizabethan England and the works of William Shakespeare.
