It will be a space that houses exhibits of the hundreds of artifacts unique to Redstone held across the Historical Society, as well as a community space to feature arts, lectures, and serve as a primary home base for the popular walking tours of historic Redstone. The cottage is in near-perfect condition, retaining 90% of its original furnishings from the mining era. It is itself almost a museum! The home is valued at $875,000, and one of the cottage owners has graciously donated $275,000 towards the project already. We are additionally working with Pitkin County, which has promised an additional $200,000 as a matching grant on our pending $250,000 grant from History Colorado. On top of all of this, gracious donors from across the Roaring Fork and Crystal Valleys have already donated an additional $120,000 for our project.&nbsp; We Need Your Help!
