Your donation, no matter how large or small, will allow the Department of Arizona, Military Order of the Purple Heart reach more Veterans, Veterans Families, and communities by expanding our support programs.
The Purple Heart Combat Wounded Veterans of Arizona (PHCWVOA) is the official fundraising arm of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Arizona. We bring patriotic donors together with combat-wounded veterans who spilled their blood in the name of our nation’s freedom to promote their recovery. Our sole purpose is to raise funds for programs executed by the Department of Arizona. Our goal is to help make sure their programs receive robust support so more Purple Heart recipients and their families can be provided with the necessary assistance. We are a non-profit, public charity, 501.c.3 organization (EIN: 82-1286505).
Our programs include:
- Suicide Awareness and Prevention: This program provides our members with education, resources, and tools to join in the fight to end suicide.
- Youth Activities: We recognize outstanding leadership through patriotism and citizenship in cadets and midshipmen through the Senior and Junior ROTC Programs in the United States and Department of Defense Dependent Schools worldwide.
- Advanced Education Scholarship Program: A competitive program that awards scholarships to Purple Heart recipients and their spouses, children, and grandchildren each year.
- Employment Training: The Military Order of the Purple Heart and Redding Software Corporation are working together to provide MOPH members, veterans, or family members of MOPH members with free Software Developer training.
- Women Veterans Issues: The program’s mission is to aid Women Veterans by providing information and assistance to resolve issues inside and outside of the Order.
- Veterans Advocacy:. Although our membership is restricted to combat-wounded men and women, we support all of our veterans.
- MOPH Disaster Relief Fund: Natural disasters can strike at any moment, leaving veterans and their families vulnerable and in urgent need of support.
- Legislative Program: We strive to impact legislation that affects veterans, their families, and survivors, like Homeless Veterans, POW/MIA, and Veterans Benefits.
We ask for your help taking care of those who protect the country!
