Formed in 2013, the <a href="https://cauaaie.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" style="text-decoration-color:currentcolor;user-select:auto;box-sizing:inherit" target="_blank">San Bernardino/Riverside, California Chapter</a> of the former Clark Atlanta University Alumni Association represents the Clark Atlanta University (CAU) alumni from or residing in the "Inland Empire" of Southern California.  The Clark Atlanta University Alumni Association of San Bernardino-Riverside, CA, or "CAUAAIE" for short, focuses on the Inland Empire, which is an area adjacent to coastal Southern California, centering around San Bernardino and Riverside, CAOur goal has always been to develop an organization to serve and to promote the mutual interests of CAU and its alumni through and in collaboration with the national office in Atlanta, Georgia and our local charitable activities:<ul><li style="font-family:Georgia;font-size:18px;box-sizing:inherit">Multi-Generational Mentorship & Support</li><li style="font-family:Georgia;font-size:18px;box-sizing:inherit">Social Engagement</li><li style="font-family:Georgia;font-size:18px;box-sizing:inherit">Educational Scholarships and Book Stipends</li><li style="font-family:Georgia;font-size:18px;box-sizing:inherit">Community Outreach Programs </li></ul>As part of our overall charitable activities, we have given thousands of dollars towards book stipends and other financial support for new Clark Atlanta University students in the Inland Empire to purchase books and materials needed for their collegiate efforts while at CAU.  Through the money our chapter has raised, we've happily provided $2,000 scholarships for select local CAU students.  Further, as part of our community outreach program, CAUAAIE aims to generally help other extremely low-income Inland Empire citizens who lack the basic necessities, with a strong focus on our local youth and students lacking toiletries, backpacks and school supplies.  These charitable programs are intended for the benefit of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, California, as we can donate food, clothing, and our time to many local causes under the auspices of our local chapter.   <img src="https://res.cloudinary.com/hxn9dbuhd/image/upload/v1732992211/zgl3cnd7ippw1xkxzbod.png" style="width:124px;display:block;vertical-align:top;margin:5px auto;text-align:center;position:relative;max-width:100%;cursor:pointer;padding:0px 1px;user-select:none;box-sizing:inherit" />Our chapter supports the university's mission by cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship between the university and the global alumni community.
