Thank you so very much for your generous donation to our local Experimental Aircraft Association,(EAA) chapter. We are a very busy chapter that focuses primarily on promoting aviation. Weintroduce kids between 8 and 17 to the miracle of flight through our Young Eagles program, and carrythem through achieving the reality of becoming a pilot through scholarship funding. Volunteer pilots and ground crew work diligently every month to fly forty to seventy kids at each YoungEagle rally. We have held rallies at Thermal, Bermuda Dunes, and Palm Springs airports. We also have a flight simulator program that makes available high-quality simulators toyouth. This we are doing in collaboration with Dan Obradovich and Thermal Aviation as they donatethe space for the sims. Last but certainly not least, we provide scholarships to youth interested in getting their pilot license inpartnership with the Ray Aviation Scholarship Foundation, and we have also created a new scholarship program for Aviation Maintenance Technology students, partnering with Chaffee College. This is to address the ever growing need for trained professionals to maintain our aircraft in the future. Your donation will help propel our mission to educate and inspire the next generation through ourexisting programs, and others that we continue to explore.
