This is why we are moving from mere charity model, from food distribution, outreaches, and donations to building first of its kind the Liberia Living and Learning Center for Persons with Disabilities (LLLCPWD). It will offer a safe and wide range of services, resources, and programs to support education, worship, health, and social integration, transforming the lives of over 10,000 Persons with Disabilities (PWD). This will contribute to the infrastructure and amenities that Liberia requires to reach its healthcare and educational development goals for persons living with disabilities in Liberia.</div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text"><br /></div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text">The journey to building a brighter future for our disabled population is formidable, but we are taking one step at a time and with your support, we can ensure this dream of transforming lives becomes a reality. </div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text"><br /></div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text">Together with our partners in Canada and Liberia, we have created a vision for the Liberia Living and Learning Center for Persons with Disabilities (LLLCPWD) to be a beacon of hope and resource to enhance the lives of Persons with Disabilities, enabling them to overcome barriers, pursue their aspirations and lead fulfilling and independent lives. </div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text"><br /></div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text">The project will involve the construction of the Liberia Living and Learning Center which will be built in numerous stages in the Duazon area and will include Liberia's first 21st Century international standard center, a school, clinic, administrative building, worship center, amusement park, and accommodation units. </div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text"><br /></div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text">The LLLCPWD will serve as a source for development and an inspiration to several other disability organizations across the nation to turn their services from mere charity to something sustainable that will benefit every Liberian with disabilities.  </div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text"><br /></div><div style="border-width:0px;box-sizing:border-box;cursor:text">The total cost of the project is $3.4 Million USD divided into 4 phases. Phase 1 cost $574,471.45 USD, Phase 2 cost $798, 587.62 USD, Phase 3 cost $1,503,547.72 USD and Phase 4 cost $ 364,012.00 USD. We are currently fundraising to complete Phase 1 of the project, and it covers all preliminaries, general conditions, substructure works and finish floor level.  You can donate towards phase 1 or any phase of the project.
