North Lake Tahoe is at a crossroads. To file our application with Placer County&#39;s Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) and do the full research on whether incorporation is possible, we have set a goal to raise $100,000 by January 31. These funds cover the $25,000 application fee plus legal and consultant costs required to move forward. Half of this goal will come from the Catalyst Club&mdash; a group of neighbors who have stepped up with major pledges totalling $50,000. The other half depends on all of us.
