Each year, Mental Health America of Dubuque County gathers the community together for a buffet dinner and silent auction event to support brain health and engage in much needed conversation about this important issue. MHA of Dubuque County directly addresses brain and mental health concerns bycollaborating with community-based partners to provide programs, education, resources, support and advocacy. This year&rsquo;s theme for Mental Health month is &ldquo;Turn Awareness into Action.&rdquo;&nbsp; This theme celebrates the progress we&rsquo;ve made in recognizing the importance of mental health &ndash; and challenges us to turn understanding into meaningful steps toward change. Whether it&rsquo;s through advocacy, education, community engagement, or direct action in our own lives, &ldquo;Turn Awareness to Action&rdquo; reflects our commitment to creating a world where mental health is prioritized for all. We hope to see you at our dinner to strengthen community engagement, while we move forward collectively to impact and address brain health and overall wellness. Together, we will educate and change how our community, state and nation responds to these important needs and work together to improve outcomes.
