Cheerleader's information

SALT Cheerleading squads are divided by grade level. Your child will be placed on the correct squad based off the grade your child is entering into during the 2025/2026 academic school year.   Small - FULLMiddle - entering 3rd and 4th gradeBig - FULL Roster Size - Squads will be limited to 35 per squad.  Spots will be slotted on a first come first serve basis and will be based on the time and day of their submitted registration form and payment.  Payment will be required to complete your registration. A wait-list will be created if needed but there is NO guarantee your child will be on the squad if they end up on a wait-list.  We will be having a firm cap of 35 per squad. Anyone who does not make the roster will receive a registration refund. Practices - will start the week of 7/21.  Squads will practice 2 hours per practice Mon-Thurs.  Once school starts (end of August) practices will be cut down from 4 days per week to 2 days per week.   Stunt Clinic - Big and Middle will be having a stunt clinic on 7/15 and 7/16.  Stunt clinic will be used by the coaches to determine stunt groups for the season and it is extremely recommended that if you want to be a part of a stunt group that you attend the stunt clinic. Uniform - All new cheerleaders will need to purchase a uniform for the 2025 season.  SALT will have a mandatory uniform fitting day on April 23rd.  Each cheerleader will be measured for their custom fit uniform. The cheerleader must purchase a top, skirt, and complete warm up set.  Your cheerleader will also have the option to purchase a red book bag to carry all their belongings for practice and games.   The book bag is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended.  Orders can be placed during the April 23rd uniform fitting day.    Returning cheerleaders will be required to come to the uniform fitting day.  Returning cheerleaders will need to submit their shoe size, sock requirement, and to have their current uniform and warm-up reviewed to ensure correct sizing.
