Julie Baby is a raw, coming-of-age drama set in Austin, TX, following Julie as tensions between her mom and sister boil over. With influences from Andrea Arnold’s WASP and Fish Tank, Julie Baby offers a naturalistic portrayal of resilience, identity, and the ways we serve those we love. Nothing Felt Like Her dives into the emotional turbulence of Rochelle, a young queer person navigating the aftermath of their first real heartbreak. Playing with the concept of time, the film poignantly explores Rochelle's struggle to make sense of their feelings and memories. This introspective journey offers a profound look at the disorienting effects of love and loss. Nothing Felt Like Her is a moving and innovative exploration of heartache and self-discovery. Goodbye, Hello is a hauntingly beautiful short film that follows a young teen grappling with the loss of her best friend. Trapped in a time loop on the day of her friend’s death, she relives the same heart-wrenching moments over and over, searching for a way to change the past and find closure. This emotional journey explores themes of grief, acceptance, and the longing for one more chance to say goodbye. With its evocative storytelling and poignant performances, Goodbye, Hello offers a deeply moving experience that will resonate long after the final frame. The All Aroundz is a heartwarming film that reconnects two long-lost friends, LaNiya Jenkins and Toya Charles, whose bond was forged in childhood at their beloved local rec center, The Spot. White Gaze is a gripping social drama/horror featurette that tackles the harsh reality of gentrification. Latine twentysomething Gema finds herself in a precarious situation when she's forced to let an intrusive stranger move in to avoid eviction.
