Join us for the second annual Friends of Whitefish Point Birdathon Weekend, May 15-17, 2026. You can choose to register for the whole weekend, or just select events.&nbsp; Full Birdathon Registration: Come to the UP and go birding with your friends during peak migration to raise funds for the owl banding research at Whitefish Point! Birdathon hours are 6PM-6PM (or less) in Chippewa County, Michigan, with a celebration dinner and presentation (included in your registration) to follow in Paradise. First, take a look at our Birdathon FAQ, then read the Birdathon Rules. Find at least one friend to join you in the field, pick a team name, and register on our website. Participants ALSO get free admission (normally $25) to the Friends of Whitefish Point owl banding station on May 15 &amp; 16. Note that the number of spots available is limited, so you must pre-register using the link you'll receive after signing up for Birdathon.&nbsp;Birdathon Dinner Registration: Not doing Birdathon but still want to join the fun?
