From 2007 to 2016 Aryeh was an Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) in the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS). While at MCYS, Aryeh was responsible for policies and programs for: autism, community-based mental health, child protection, special needs, residential services, and the poverty reduction strategy. Prior to joining MCYS, Aryeh was ADM of the Instruction and Leadership Development Division, and the Business and Finance Division in the Ministry of Education. While at Education, he was responsible for policies and programs for: secondary schools, teacher quality, leadership development and safe schools. De 2007 à 2016, Aryeh a été sous-ministre adjoint (SMA) au ministère des Services à l’enfance et à la jeunesse de l’Ontario (MCYS). Pendant son mandat au MCYS, Aryeh était responsable des politiques et des programmes liés à : l’autisme, la santé mentale communautaire, la protection de l’enfance, les besoins particuliers, les services en milieu résidentiel et la stratégie de réduction de la pauvreté. Avant de rejoindre le MCYS, Aryeh a occupé le poste de SMA pour la Division du développement de l’enseignement et du leadership, ainsi que pour la Division des affaires et des finances au ministère de l’Éducation. Pendant cette période, il a supervisé des politiques et programmes pour : les écoles secondaires, la qualité des enseignant·e·s, le développement du leadership et les écoles sécuritaires.
