In this capacity, she oversees its suite of undergraduate and graduate courses, the Graphos program focused on graduate students and postdocs, a Tutorial Service that offers individual writing consults to students, and various special projects, including a “Writing for Publication” collaboration with the Ingram School of Nursing. Avant de s’installer à Montréal, Farhan a travaillé comme journaliste en politique étrangère au Bangladesh et comme responsable de l’expérience client chez Google à Singapour. Éditeur indépendant, il a collaboré à la publication de plusieurs ouvrages internationaux, notamment chez Oxford University Press. Depuis 2020, Farhan anime des ateliers pour Graphos/McGill Writing Centre, où il s’appuie sur son parcours diversifié pour proposer des approches innovantes en écriture.À propos de l’organisatrice : Yvonne Hung, Ph.D., est la direction du McGill Writing Centre, la ressource centrale en communication écrite à l’Université McGill. À ce titre, elle supervise une gamme de cours de premier et deuxième cycle, le programme Graphos destiné aux étudiant.e.s diplômé.e.s et postdoctorant.e.s, un service de tutorat offrant des consultations individuelles en écriture, ainsi que divers projets spéciaux, y compris une collaboration « Rédiger pour publier » avec l’École des sciences infirmières Ingram. Ancienne membre du groupe consultatif de QART (Quebec Autism Research Training Platform), elle a grandement apprécié contribuer au mandat de formation de QART. Avec le lancement de la plateforme CanFRN, Hung continue de s’impliquer en développant des curriculums en tant que leader pour la rédaction scientifique et la communication.
