Join the New Jersey MasterChorale for our annual Spring concert, To Glory Arise, on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 7 pm in the Haddonfield United Methodist Church Sanctuary. This year marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Our spring concert thus takes its inspiration from the Declaration, particularly its fundamental ideals of equality, &quot;life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,&quot; peace, and the guiding hand of Divine Providence. Led by Artistic Director Dr. Jason Vodicka and accompanied by organist/pianist Matt Smith, this program includes settings of American folk tunes, patriotic selections, and settings of poetry by Emma Lazarus, Robert Frost, Francis Ellen Watkins Harper, and John Greenleaf Whittier. The program will be accompanied by the largest orchestra NJMC has hired in several seasons, Members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Friends. The Mosaic Youth Chorus from the Lehigh Valley will join us and will present several pieces from their repertoire. Directed by Joy Hirokawa, Mosaic is a diverse choir of 11-18-year-old singers focused on developing community, empathy, and social awareness.
