For our Horse Leaders, the ideal lead ropes are 6-foot cotton ropes with bolt snaps. They're comfortable to handle, offer great control, and hold up well during our lessons — making them a perfect fit for our program!

To keep our tack in top shape and extend its life, regular cleaning is a must — especially for our leather equipment. With the right cleaning supplies, we can ensure our saddles, bridles, and other gear stay safe, comfortable, and long-lasting for both horses and riders.

Horses need electrolytes just like humans. Your gift helps us provide the supplements they need.

Proper grooming brushes help us care for our horses by keeping their coats, manes, and tails clean and healthy. Regular grooming not only supports skin and coat health but also strengthens the bond between horse and handler. Because these tools get a lot of use, they wear out quickly and need frequent replacement to ensure we’re always giving our herd the best care possible.

Caring for geriatric horses means they often need special dietary needs. Your donation helps feed the herd.

Rainbow reins provide helpful visual cues for our riders, showing them exactly where to place their hands. This simple but effective tool supports better hand positioning and control, making it easier for riders to communicate with their horse and build confidence during lessons.

All riders are required to wear safety belts during lessons to help keep them secure in the saddle. To ensure every rider is both safe and comfortable, we need belts in a variety of sizes. Having the right fit makes all the difference in creating a confident and supported riding experience!

Dressage letters placed around the arena are a valuable tool for guiding our riders safely as they move through their lessons. They not only help with direction and spatial awareness but also serve as an educational aid, teaching riders to follow clear paths and instructions. This structured approach builds confidence, focus, and riding skills in a fun and effective way.

A properly fitted girth is essential for both horse and rider safety. It helps prevent injuries and discomfort for the horse while providing the secure fit needed to keep the saddle in place during lessons. Just like any equipment, girths wear out over time and must be replaced. Since girths are sized to each horse, having the right fit is key to supporting our herd’s health and our riders' safety.

Equine riding helmets protect riders from head injuries by absorbing impact during falls or accidents. Designed for safety and comfort, they include secure straps, ventilation, and shock-absorbing liners. Helmets should be replaced after any significant impact or every 3 to 5 years, even without a fall, as materials degrade over time.

Safety stirrups are designed to release the rider’s foot during a fall, reducing the risk of being dragged. With features like quick-release mechanisms or flexible sides, they offer added protection without sacrificing performance. Ideal for riders of all levels, especially beginners and therapeutic programs, safety stirrups enhance confidence and help prevent injury.

Stirrup leathers are adjustable straps that attach stirrups to the saddle, allowing riders to customize stirrup height for comfort and balance. Made from leather or synthetic materials, they support proper leg position and are essential for safety and effective riding.

Leather halters are strong, adjustable headcollars used for leading and handling horses. They’re favored for their safety—breaking under extreme pressure to prevent injury—and for their comfortable fit and classic look. Leather also reduces rubbing and molds to the horse’s head over time.

Riders are required to wear the right riding apparel to ensure safety and comfort during lessons. Many of our riders can’t afford their own riding boots, so we keep a variety of sizes in the rider prep area to help everyone find a comfortable fit. With riders of all ages and sizes, having the right gear lets them focus on enjoying their ride — not worrying about their feet.

Horses require frequent farrier services and your donation will provide one farrier trim for one of our herd.

Our horses that require shoes need farrier services to care for the hooves and adjustments. Your donation will provide one farrier visit for shoes.

Geriatric horses often need vet visits and your contribution will help provide one vet visit.

Several of our saddles are showing significant wear — with peeling leather and other issues that make them less safe and comfortable. With a few new horses joining our herd, we also need properly fitted saddles to meet their individual needs. A well-fitting saddle is essential for each horse’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being. It helps prevent pain, injury, and behavioral issues, ensuring a positive experience for both horse and rider.

Flies can be a real nuisance — and even a health concern — for both our horses and riders, especially in the warmer months. To keep everyone comfortable and safe, we apply fly spray to our horses before every lesson. It's a simple but essential step that helps protect against bites, irritation, and distraction so our riders can focus on enjoying their time in the saddle!
