Step Back in Time: Manchester Neighborhood Home &amp; Garden Tour Discover the charm and elegance of Pittsburgh&#39;s Manchester neighborhood, a stunning enclave of turn-of-the-century Victorian homes. Wander through historic streets lined with beautifully preserved architecture, lush gardens, and enchanting outdoor spaces that tell the story of a bygone era. We are Pittsburgh&#39;s largest historic district. Join us for an exclusive Home &amp; Garden Tour, where you&#39;ll step inside grand residences adorned with intricate woodwork, soaring ceilings, and timeless design. Marvel at manicured gardens bursting with color, each one a testament to the neighborhood&#39;s enduring beauty. For over 27 years, Manchester Historic Society (MHS) has welcomed visitors to tour our amazing architecture, beautiful interiors and wonderful gardens. Whether you are a first time tour attendee or long time visitor, we know you will find something new and exciting on today&#39;s tour. Highlights of the Day of the Event<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" id="isPasted" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Showcase Manchester Home and Gardens Tour will take you into ten beautiful homes and two lush gardens. &nbsp;This year, world class jazz will greet you at several stops along the way.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The Piatt Companies are sponsoring jazz groups at three of the tour stops, curated by MCG Jazz. &nbsp;Legend and longtime Manchester resident Etta Cox will perform with each of the jazz groups throughout the afternoon.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Tour check-in is at 1213 Liverpool St. &nbsp;Tickets are available by clicking the &quot;Buy Tickets&quot; button above through August 3, 2025 at 3 PM. Same day tickets will also be available for purchase at the tour check-in location.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Need a lift? &nbsp;Pedicabs will be available along the route, generously provided by Howard Hanna Columbus Square. &nbsp;Don&rsquo;t forget to cash-tip the drivers if you are happy with their service.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Free on-street parking will be available throughout the neighborhood, as well as a free parking lot at the corner of Chateau and Sheffield (across from Pittsburgh Furniture Rental).</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">If you get hungry there are two food trucks at the corner of Manhattan and Sheffield--412 Taco Truck and Happy Day Dessert Factory.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Manchester Craftsmen&#39;s Guild is also providing their Guild On The Go van, which will be at the tour check-in in the 1200 block of Liverpool. &nbsp;Guild On The Go is a mobile art-making studio featuring a full array of MCG Youth arts-based programming. &nbsp;The van carries state-of-the-art video/photo equipment, sewing machines, a laser engraver, a wood-firing kiln and more. &nbsp;Mentors will be on hand to help neighborhood kids have fun and perhaps find a passion. &nbsp;The Guild On The Go Van is free to all Manchester residents and tour-goers thanks to the Piatt Companies.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A portion of the proceeds from this tour will support the Iota Phi Foundation and their HBCU Tour and College Mentoring Program.</li></ul>Don&#39;t miss this opportunity to experience one of Pittsburgh&rsquo;s hidden gems&mdash;where history, elegance, and community come to life!
