The New England region is home to hundreds of extraordinary vehicles: veteran cars, horse-drawn carriages, military and agricultural machines, and rare motoring survivors found nowhere else in the world. Right now, this collection has no permanent home. Cars sit in sheds and private collections, their stories at risk of being lost, when they should be on display for the whole community to discover and enjoy. For over 35 years, a dedicated group of volunteers has worked toward a single goal: giving this heritage the museum it deserves. That dream is now within reach. Planning approval has been secured, land has been allocated in the Armidale Airside Business Park, and the only thing standing between plans on paper and a museum our region can be proud of is the funding to build it. It&#39;s about making sure our grandchildren and great-grandchildren can walk through a museum one day and see, touch, and understand the machines that shaped how Australians lived, worked, farmed, and travelled.
