Why We Raise Funds Regional Cancer Fighters is a registered charity with The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. We are raising funds to support regional cancer patients and their families who often face significant travel and accommodation costs when accessing essential cancer treatment away from home. Funds raised will help provide:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Fuel vouchers to assist with the cost of travelling long distances to cancer appointments and treatment.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Accommodation vouchers, including pet-friendly accommodation, so patients who cannot leave their beloved pets behind can access suitable places to stay while receiving treatment.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Cancer Care Packages, is a thoughtful collection of practical and comforting items designed to support someone while they are undergoing active cancer treatment. Each package may include cancer-friendly skincare products, lip balm, gentle toiletries, a soft blanket or socks, a drink bottle, snacks, and a handwritten note of encouragement.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Doggy Daycare vouchers, so cancer patients fur babies are well looked after whilst they undergo treatment at the hospital.</li></ul>Our goal is to help reduce the financial burden of cancer treatment and ensure regional patients can focus on their health and recovery, rather than worrying about how they will afford the journey or where they will stay.
