This workshop is run over two consecutive weeks: Tuesday, 11 August 2026 at 9am-12pm &amp; Tuesday, 18 August 2026 at 9am-12pm This Key Word Sign introductory workshop will cover:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">The principles of Key Word Sign and natural gesture</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">How signing can support spoken language development</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Who KWS can be used with and how it can be integrated into everyday routines</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Practical strategies for using speech and sign together</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">A core vocabulary of signs to begin using immediately</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Ideas for creating a &ldquo;signing environment&rdquo; at home, preschool, or school</li></ul>Includes: Key Word Sign resource bookFamilies are able to use their NDIS funding to cover the cost of the workshop where appropriate.
