Iceman

𝕀𝕔𝕖𝕞𝕒𝕟, a very special protégé…

It was in November 2020 that Iceman, an experienced kitty, joined our organization. After a long life of wandering and a brief passage in a shelter with limited ressources, Iceman had to receive intensive care to gain once again some comfort. Almost two years later, it was mission accomplished: Iceman enjoys a happy and quiet life in his foster home

Despite his now stable health, Iceman’s long term prognosis is still grim. In addition to being positive to feline AIDS and having an important heart murmur, Iceman is also suffering from stage 3 chronic kidney disease. His difficult past is catching up with him and his kidneys are slowly giving up… Fortunately, his special diet and his medication is slowing down the process and Iceman is winning some precious time.

We don’t know how long Iceman has, but we know he is currently comfortable and happy with his foster family. We know his past and current treatment with us are allowing him to enjoy the little pleasures of life: devouring his kibbles with appetite, snuggling in the arms of his humans, chasing the birds behind the window and quenching his thirst under the stream of the tap. And we know that a strong bond was built between him and his family, who is ready to follow him to the end.

We therefore inform you that Iceman officially becomes a permanent protégé of the Aristopaws! Our team got attached to his little hoarse meow and his cute pirate face. Will you help us offer Iceman a well-deserved retirement ?
